Toxic is a client application for the secure messaging protocol Tox. It offers a text interface, chat, audio/video calls, file transfer, and simple games. Key updates in version 0.13.0 include:

  • Competitive online Snake game mode.
  • /autoaccept on command for automatic file transfer acceptance.
  • Unique group names.
  • /whois command in group chats showing IP addresses (with specific server settings).
  • Improved help menu and error messages.
  • Various bug fixes in version 0.13.1.

Further development has resumed in the c-toxcore repository.
